I have been practicing yoga ever since I graduated college at WKU almost 20 years ago. After attending a four-day yoga conference in Toronto back in 2009, I decided I wanted to start the journey to become a teacher. Later that year I began training in Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga at Yoga Ah! in Cincinnati, Ohio with Amber Jean. I graduated in 2010, and over the years I’ve had the opportunity to learn from many great teachers such as Doug Swenson, Kathryn Budig, and Jason Crandall. I’m especially grateful for the opportunities that yoga has provided me, and leading classes during a mission trip to Sweden on two occasions is near the top of that list.
In my classes I encourage people to try new things, and set their egos aside. I enjoy teaching all levels yoga, rocket and yin.
